New mouse and Keyboard

YES! finally I have an external mouse and keyboard. Equipt with some lovely speakers, soon I will have the most ultimates macbook set up in the world!

the keyboard is the lovely BIG apple wired keyboard. What a lovely peice of machinery it is!

the mouse is the logitech V740 cordless laser mouse.

This week has been a moderately busy one. Homework has been moderately difficult, technology hasnt done much.

So I just phoned up applecare regarding changing the language in iWork 08's Pages. Problem solved in about two minutes. I can now also easily change the language to Spanish for any coursework I do.

Metal of Honor: Airborne

yes METAL of honor:airborne. I have been borrowing it from a friend and tbh, its not really that bad.
Controls are bad - really bad
gameplay is hard - really hard
character names are stupid - really stupid

The so called "hardest" level of oponents are called the "Nazi Stomr Elite".

That is the stupidest name for a character I have ever heard. Apart from the fact that you are scammed out of however much you pay for the game to parachute into a level and then play evry other medal of honor game.

BAH! SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT

it is a really hard game, so the challenge was nice but you know whatever. hehe

oh and my iPod is here. Can't do much at the moment because I don't want to take it out the case and scratch it. :(

Hello my faithful readers (1). You know who you are. ;)

So I just got my laptop back today. now playing on xbox watching tv and really not that much else.

So when I went to get them yesterday (that is laptop and iPod) there was so much traffic on the way to the hove store that after 45mins of stationary driving, we turned around and went home. Today went down there. Went late enough to avoid the shoreham airshow traffic and...

well WTF?!?!?! I asked for my laptop and iPod and they said "nope don't have it" So I wa like "errmmmm.... give it to me" So they went back to look at itand nopte. Only the laptop. NO IPOD! anyhow I ended up leaving without it. So I am phoning up tomorrow to get them to deliver it to me. XD That will be good.

It doesn't matter too much because I was managing just fine without it so yeah!

hopefuly will have a BRAND NEW iPod 160GB classic. SCORE!

ok ok ok!

laptop is broken. When I say broken, I mean that the corners have splintered of due to the magnetic closing mechanism. Stupid bloody apple! I am writing on my parent's computer as I have sent ti off (that is my laptop) for repair. I should have iot back in about a week. Until then I am going to be going cold turkey-ish form all technology. Well not all. Still using phones, cars, and obvious stuff. aybe a little xbox, but other than that and updating this blog, very little. :(

My iPod is also in for repair. Have fun everyone else

Podcasting Maybe?

OK so this morning I have been thinking that starting up a podcast or two would be really fun. The spurring on of this statement comes from a recently discovered piece of software called WireTap Pro by Ambrosia software which allows you to record any sound your computer makes so for example, any sound made through skype or garageband or anything like that. This means I can record an entire podcast of talking as it also offers mic recording so you can record both the computer sounds and the microphone sounds. Fantastic. XD

Ok You c`n't find the software there. Just google it because it will come up. If you create and account with mac heist, then you can get a free copy of it by checking in "my loot". It is really cool so I would recomend it! XD

Exam Results, iTunes, Badminton and Half a Stone

First things first. No post yesterday :(

oh well, like two people are reading this so it doesn't matter. Sorry anyway!
Moving Swiftly On...

resulst have sunk in. This = Good. Why? I can stop thinking about them and move on to thinking about what I need to be thinking about. Sex, Drugs and Parties.

Now that I finally have a debit card, I habve been able to set up my Apple account to work with iTunes . YAY! On top of this, my speakers have revolutionized the way I use my laptop. Combined with my Apple Remote, I am able to use my Macbook as a media centre, which is brilliant. All I need now is a nice 28" monitor for watching pdcasts in bed. XD...

...Badminton!
Yesterday myself and a firend went to play some badminton. Wow I never realized how much fun playing badminton actually is. It is also a lot of hard work. Will have to do that more often

Not Happy. Came home last night after working only to find out that I have put on half a stone. Now I am proper pissed. For those of you who don't know me that well, I am about 15 stone, or I was until last night. I have realised that If I am going to win the £50 bet I have against my brother (that I can get a six pack by the end of college) then I am really going to have to work hard on losing some weight. So...

...
No more chocolate, no more sweets, no more snacks. Obviously these are probably the biggest problem. :(
Badminton is on a rise, as well as cycling and basketball. Maybe stop sitting at my computer all day every day? That would work, maybe presups and shit at home every now and then? Gym would probably help? YEah

so I think that should sort me out!

Results Day

GCSE results dawn upon us, a mere hour and a half away, I thought I would voice my opinions. XD.
Righty then. Today is the day.
Today is the day we find out our future. Today is the day that some jump in the air, whilst others ride home in the car, not speaking a single word. Today is the start of the rest of our lives. Good Luck.
I hope that helped everyone.

Moving on, over the last few days, I have noticed that a lot of people haven't been thinking about the results. Obviously there is the occasional oddball who has had the worst summer of his/her life and is dreading this day, but the chances are that that person is probably going to get better results than most. The point is, last night I must have had three or four different dreams depicting different outcomes of my results. Sometimes getting all Gs, Es and Fs and other times getting As and Bs. Now I understand why people block out the thought of it, as I said earlier results day tells you how your future is going to write itself out, however, is it really the best thing we should do? Should we not worry a bit? Just have it in the back of our mids at least, it is one of the most important letters most of us will recieve, and all I can think of is, will I be able to do all of the subjects I want to do?

I think that in future I need to think of it in a less stressful way, as currently, at 09:41 in the morning, I am writing a blog post that probably no one is going to read, but I don't care. I think it is helping with stress relief or something like that.

I GUESS I SHOULD STOP WORRYING

but it is rather hard.

Ok. So, went out to day with friends. Saw Dark Knight. That is one seriously awesome film. Heath Ledger plays an extremely good role, real shame what happened to him though. Anyway I was slightly dissapointed with the score, but that is one man's opinion. Though I did think the music didn't progress enough in each piece except the last piece. Anyhow. After that, leaving the sinema, it chucked it down. Now have no shoes for tomorrow. Results! AHHHHH!!!!!! NO SHOES FOR RESAULTS! AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Ahh well I will find some, now I just have to hope I get the results I hoped for. Hehehee

New Speakers

Finally after days and days of turmoil and depression (3 days) my speakers are finally here!

The speakers I am refering to are the harman/kardon SoundSticks II. A 20 watt powered subwoofer as well as two 10 watt satelites. Their smooth sleek design makes them fit right in on my now, clean tidy desk (these speakers are inspiring). Yes I cleaned my desk just so the speakers would look a bit more in place. The brilliant blue LED just adds a bit more to the wonderful design. At only £100 from amazon these speakers are fantastic value for money! Now I can listen to my crappy music in wonderful 2.1 glory! THANKYOU!
